Psycho-Educational Evaluations
Before specific steps should be taken to help an individual who is
struggling in school, it is important to understand how he or she

The testing process begins with a telephone conversation to better understand individual needs. A detailed questionnaire, in advance of the first appointment is then mailed to you. Typically, testing includes an intake session, two to three testing sessions, as well as a thorough follow-up meeting.

Many individuals have more than one area of need. For some, behavioral,
social, attentional, language, or visual-motor issues may be interfering
with learning. Dr. Hessler and Ms. Nevins work closely with a
comprehensive team of highly skilled professionals, including
psychiatrists, behavioral health specialists, speech/language
pathologists, and occupational therapists to develop a deeper
understanding of your child’s learning challenges and strengths. |
